Your filter should be backwashed and rinsed once a week for greater performance.

Chemicals should be tested, minimum, once a month. 

Your swimming pool should run between 6-12 hours depending on the size of your pool. 

Your pool water should go through your pools filter, fully, 7 times a day.

Even though most pools are fitted and installed with automatic pool cleaning equipment, most will not scrub thouroughly. Brushing your pool can assist and help in removing algae or any other small stubborn particles from the pools surface.

Pay special attention to spots where water circulation is a problem i.e Behind pool ladders, Loveseats and in the corners. 

We recommend brushing the pool once a week to keep it sparkly and clean. 

The best way to maintain pool lighting is by cleaning the lights covers, replacing the old bulbs and keeping leaves and all other debris from touching the pools lights.

Saltwater pools and the nature of salt water pools is that it converts salt water into chlorine. On some occassions you might need to super shock and chlorinate your pool.

Salt water pools are a great option for people sensitive to chlorine as they are alot more sensitive and “soft” and can be gentler on the eyes, skin and hair. 

The pH level should be between 7.4 and 7.6 and the total alkalinity should be between 100-150 ppm.

If you have a gunite pool, the calcium hardness should be between 200 – 250 ppm. 

A standard size pool installation can take about 7 – 21 days on average. There are many factors that can influence this time line. 

Switch off all the circuit breakers (down) and switch them on one by one. The one that trips the breaker should be reprted to yur electrician. Do not try and fix this yourself.

Install a timer for the geyser and you can change all your lights in the house to LED lights.

Yes it is. In the long run you will save money on your electricity bill. 

LED saves up to 80% of electricity. In addition LED lights have a much longer life span than incandescent and halogen lights. This in turn reduces the need need for maintenance and in turn saves you money.
